Admission Process for Officer Cadet Preparation Class
All aspiring youth (boys and girls) who match the Nepali Army's requirements and recruitment norms are welcome to apply for the new admission, which the Nepali Army announces. Candidates for officer cadets have 35 days to finish their application forms, with the option to extend that period by a further 7 days if they meet the double payment criteria. Officer Cadet Candidates may apply to our Academy for new admission up to one or two months before the Nepali Army posts openings for officer cadets. Dakshya Career Academy (DC) has all the necessary resources, including expert instructors, SMEs, psychologists(TO, GTO, & IO)
, and Loksewa experts, to offer officer
cadet preparation training. While we have the largest GTO, this is the only
academy with all three energetic psychological experts. The following
requirements must be fulfilled for young people who aspire to join the
Nepali Army as officers, now known as lieutenant rank in Nepali Army.
Criteria
- The first requirement is completion of the Intermediate level or two educations. The age requirement is 18 but
no older than 21.
- Second requirement: educational
background, specifically having obtained a bachelor's degree. Age restriction:
Must be 18 years old, but not older than 24. In addition to the age
requirement, candidates must fulfill the following physical specifications:

After passing the above tests, candidates
have to go through the following written tests
- I.Q.
- 60 marks (30 minutes).
- Written
Exams- English, Mathematics & Nepali of 100 marks each (3 hours for each
subject).
- General
knowledge - 100 marks (90 minutes).
After passing the written examinations, candidates will take a battery of
psychological tests, which include the IO (Interviewing Officer), GTO (Group
Tasking Officer), and TO (Technical Officer) exams. Following the TO, GTO, and
IO test results, a board conference is held, and a board interview follows.
All of the selected officer cadets receive calls from the Directorate of
Recruitment & Selection (DRS), which provides them with comprehensive
information about the joining procedures, administration, and management facets
of their training at the Military Academy in Kharipati. Plus 2 pass officer
cadet training, which should last about 36 months. A bachelor's pass student
should also train for fifteen months.
