How to reach the Academy
We train, guide, facilitate and mentor the aspiring candidates to join the defense forces as officers in order to be successful in all the processes of the Entrance Examination (Nepal Army). Nepal Police, APF, National Investigation Department, and Public Service Commission(Lok Sewa) vacancies). Besides, DC conducts psychological tests such as IO/TO/GTO/BC including Board Interview(BI).
We have two locations for our preparation classes for officer cadet candidates:Bagbazar , where the theoretical portion of the classes is held, and Sukedhara Chok, Ring Road, our GTO Ground withing the premises of the Brooklyn College, southeast of Sukedhara Chok, for the GTO Tasks and Individual Obstacle course.
DC normally does mentor, coaching, and facilitation to the aspiring candidates and has three psychological dimensions (IO/TO/GTO) for assessing candidate’s personalities and guide them to rectify their strengths and weaknesses in order to be successful in the Directorate of Recruitment and Selection (DRS) interview. Besides, we have a team of professional faculty members with years of experience who facilitate the candidates on subjects such as IQ, GK, English, Mathematics, and Nepali. Similarly, we have our own individual obstacle course with required GTO tasks available at our premises so that the candidates can be polished in these aspects. Quiz and tests are conducted frequently for written classes and actual mock tests are conducted for the candidates to tackle with the actual psychological tests.
All students of class 12 pass and bachelor pass by fulfilling the criteria provided by the Nepal Army of any discipline can apply for this program. Age bar for 12 pass is 18-21 years and for bachelor pass is 18-24 and in service can apply up to 26 years.
The aspiring candidates with Nepalese citizenship who have passed +2(18-21years) and bachelors pass (18-24 yrs.) are eligible to enroll in this course or program.
Yes, it will be refunded.
Written exam course is at least of 2 months.
No, till now, we have not conducted but days to come; we are planning to conduct online classes.
Yes, we provide courses for Nepal Army Second Lieutenant Entrance written Preparation such as IO, GK, English, Mathematics and Nepali etc.
Written portion which is known as Loksewa,it runs for about at least 2 months, psychological tests like IO/TO/GTO/BC including BI will take at least 3 weeks or a months.
Although, Dakshya Career Academy (DC) was established in September 2020, it has been actively running for 4 months. It completed it’s first batch of psychological test and first batch of written portion is going on.
Normally, we take 2/3 batches in a year as per the vacancy announced by the Nepal Army.
No, now, DC does not provide food and accommodation.

Its Officer Cadet Preparation Classes & Psych Tests (TO/GTO/IO) started in 2020.
Of the 61 batches of 15 officer candidates in 2020, 15 out of 17 passed the next year, meaning that 2 out of 17 passed, or 100%.
84 out of 165 students passed in the 62nd batch, and 57 out of 130 in the 63rd batch.
The 63rd batch of the Nepali Army Officer Cadet Exam was topped by Officer Cadet Mr. Bibek Karki from our Academy.
The 63rd batch of officer candidates passed the IQ exam with perfect scores. NCOs and JCO candidates also achieved 100% of the outcomes.
Of the 210 officer cadets that passed in the 64th Batch, 80 of them were successful.
In the 64th batch of officer cadets' merit list, six of them earned TOP-10 positions.
Ranks 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, Nim Chiring Lama, 9th, Pratik Basnet, and 10th are Sarhak Pathak, Sameer Basnet, Mahesh Raj Joshi, and Kuber Khatri.
48 candidates (First Batch, Fresh-13, JCOs/NCOs-35) of our academy got recommended in the past 5 months. Almost more than 90% candidates enrolled in IO/GTO/TO and 100% of the JCOs and NCOs in service candidates who were provided free one week psychological preparatory classes both cleared successfully.
The Academy is located in Bagbazar, Kathmandu. If you are coming from Padma Kanya Multiple College, please walk 100 metres to the west. Kumari Bank is on the right side; next to Kumari Bank, to the south, is a tailer named Welcome Tailor. Proceed another 150 metres or so south on the right, and you will find Dakshya Career Academy. This site, which is conveniently accessible from all directions, is thought of as a central area for academic institutions. Buses, cars and other readily available forms of transportation can all be used to get to our academy from anywhere.
